We stayed from 31.1.04 to 4.2.04 and found it as described by most reviews. The room we had was clean and in good order and maid service was daily. We had a view the port. We were half board and had dinner every night for only 7 euros each. It was palatable and the house wine was only £5 a bottle. We were grateful for advice to use the bus and caught the number 1 from the airport to Porto Pi.Got of a stop too early which was a little confusing. Get off at the second Porto Pi stop opposite the restaurants and shops. We got a taxi up but if pretty fit, walk in the bus direction to steps and turn right, and right in the road at the top and the hotel is about half to three quarters of a mile up the incline on the left. Warning; there are pickpockets on the buses. We were on bus 3 at 1900 one evening in rush hour, driver drove like a maniac and we had to hang on. A 3 handed team had my wallet and translator out of my waist bag and I never felt a thing. For info, almost no English is spoken in the main police station and the lost property office is in the side of the Town Hall in Plaza Cort. Other than that we had a great time, Palma is great, pity about the few thieves. David Neal, Reading, England.
