And our outdoor pool needs a seasonal break.

That does not mean you have to stop swimming.

If you are visiting Palma between autumn and spring, there are several indoor pools, sports facilities and wellness options just a short distance from Hotel Amic Horizonte.

And since October 2026, there is a particularly interesting new option nearby:

S’Aigua Dolça.

S’Aigua Dolça: Palma’s New Indoor Swimming Pool

The new municipal sports centre at S’Aigua Dolça opened in October 2026 in El Terreno, close to Palma’s seafront.

Its main indoor pool is designed for swimming and training, with:

25 metres in length
6 swimming lanes
approximately 11 metres in width
a separate learning pool
changing rooms
outdoor solarium

For guests staying at Hotel Amic Horizonte, it is one of the most practical options for continuing to swim during the months when our outdoor pool is closed.

The published single-entry rate during the first phase of operation is around:

Access is also included for members of Palma’s municipal sports network.

Because this is a newly reopened facility and services may continue to expand, we always recommend checking current conditions before travelling.
