Carl Orff's masterpiece "Carmina Burana" returns to Palma with 150 performers on stage togheter with the simultaneous screening of video crations. A powerful piece of 20th century music that introduces all to the world of classical music. The world premiere in 1937 Germany was a tremendous hit that spread across opera houses becoming an international triumph. A collection of songs about wine, women and love, baseed on poems in Latin, German and French from a manuscript dated 1280 found in the Benedictine monastery of Beuren. Under the direction of Fernando Marina, two pianos, percussion, choir, soloists and 150 musicians take the stage.
